“The City of Sacramento recently launched free COVID-related landlord and tenant mediation services available for both commercial and residential tenants. This free service aims to help Sacramentans avoid evictions and loss of local businesses by establishing mutually agreed upon repayment plans and overall improved communication.”

Below are some resources for the new tenant & landlord mediation services being administered by the Sacramento Mediation Center and attached are flyers in English & Spanish.

  • Great Plates Senior Meals Delivery Program: 3 meals a day for qualifying seniors. Sign up by calling the hotline 916-330-1444, call 3-1-1, or email You can also register by visiting the online registration form. (Flyers attached; Please share!) 

  • Update: Great Plates Senior Meal Program Participating Restaurants from District 8: Louisiana Kitchen & Pho Ru Vietnamese. More restaurants will be added to participate as the program rolls out.

  • South Sacramento Christian Center Walk-up & Drive-Thru Pickup: Saturdays 9 am-12 pm. Seniors 65+ please call 916-502-1219. Home Delivery Available. ***Urgent Updates

Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency, in partnership with the City and the County of Sacramento, is offering emergency rental assistance for residents who have experienced a loss or reduction in wages due to COVID-19.
    Applications for the new Sacramento Emergency Rental Assistance (SERA) program will be accepted online beginning Friday, October 9 through Thursday, October 22, 2020.
    We are asking for your help to share the program flyer with your community members, clients, and others who may benefit from this information. To get the flyer, click here.
